Figure 1

Step 2:  While you still hold the front section up, align the frame hooks of the lower frame tube of the lower section with that of the front section. Lock the hooks there.

Step 3:  Once you are done with the hooks, engage the frame lock-up by pivoting the rear section of the scooter forward. Now reinstall the frame lock-up pins at their places.

Step 4: After doing it with the frame, tighten the tiller adjustment knob by raising the tiller up. Carefully install the battery pack in its place. Connect the battery to the front and rear harnesses.

Step 5: Install the seat assembly on the seat post and rotate the seat as it goes down until it stops. The seat must have secured its right place by then.

Step 6: Before moving out with scooter, make sure that the tiller lick knob is unlocked and the front tire is unlocked free. Turn the tiller knob 90° clockwise to unlock. (see figure 2)

How to Operate the Travel Pro-3 Wheel Scooter

Though the controls are very simple and user-friendly, you need to keep in mind a few safety tips before heading out on your first trip

1   Make sure that the batteries are fully charged.

2   The manual drive wheel should be in a rearward position. You can only leave it in a forward position if you are pushing or dragging the scooter manually.

3   Ensure the front wheel is unlocked by unlocking the tiller lock.

4   Always remove the key from the key switch before getting onto or off the device. If you forget to do it and contact is made with the throttle control lever, an accident can happen.

5   Check if the seat is adjusted to the proper height or even if the seat is properly secured in its position or not.

6   Also check if the horn of the scooter works properly. If not check the wire harness from the battery to the horn.

How to Disassemble the Travel Pro-3 Wheel Scooter?

The Travel Pro-3 Wheel is an easy to manage scooter. It can easily disassemble into its five parts: the seat, battery pack, front section, rear section, and the basket. The pieces must be then stored in a dry place for moving or storage purposes. Remember you need to be in your front yard or a place with ample space to perform disassembling operations. Also, you might need some assistance doing it with a few heavy pieces. Don’t harm yourself. Keep reading for the process:

Step 1:  Begin the disassembly by removing the key from the key switch. Push the tiller knob in and rotate it 90° clockwise to lock the tiller in a straight position. Make sure the front wheel faces forward for locking the tiller. (see figure 3)

Step 2: You should be able to remove the seat off the scooter by simply lifting it straight up perpendicular to the floor. In case you feel difficulty, disengage the seat rotation lever and move the seat back and forth while lifting.

Step 3: Remove all the connections to the battery, disconnect the better harness and front-to-rear harnesses. Remove the battery pack similarly to the seat assembly. Store it in a dry place. (see figure 4)

Step 4: Now to separate the two sections, begin by lowering the tiller and tightening the adjustment knobs. Also remove the frame lock-up pins.

Step 5: Pivot the rear section backward and lift the seat post until the hooks of the frame no longer rest on the lower frame tube. You can finally separate the front and rear sections of the scooter now.
